Corrugated Stainless Steel Hoses
At Quality Flex, we provide high-quality, flexible, and durable stainless steel (SS) corrugated hoses for seamless fluid and gas transfer in industrial piping systems. These SS corrugated hoses are designed from thin-walled stainless steel tubes with welded edges, featuring corrugations formed mechanically or through hydroforming to ensure maximum flexibility and minimal residual stress.
Our SS corrugated hoses are available in annular or helical designs and offered in sizes ranging from 6mm (1/4″) to 250mm (10″). They can be used unreinforced, unbraided, or reinforced with wire braid, depending on the required pressure rating, making them ideal for industries such as chemical, oil and gas, petrochemical, and HVAC.
Certified to international standards like ISO 10806, BS 6501, and ISO 10380, our hoses guarantee top-notch performance and reliability. Connect with us for detailed specifications and customization options.

Types of SS Corrugated Hoses
Quality Flex Flexible metal hoses can be designed in two types: corrugated stainless steel hoses and interlock hoses.

Annular hoses feature convolutions that are parallel and perpendicular to the hose’s longitudinal axis. These corrugations resemble rings or circles, making annular hoses highly flexible and easy to cut or weld. Manufactured using advanced techniques such as hydraulic or hydroforming, these hoses are ideal for applications requiring excellent flexing characteristics and pressure tightness.

Helical hoses feature a continuous, spiral-shaped convolution resembling a screw thread. This design, produced using rotating die techniques, is often preferred in industries where high working pressures are required, such as bottle filling. However, annular hoses are more commonly chosen for their superior flexibility and ease of use in diverse applications.
Corrugated Stainless Steel Hose with Stainless Steel Overbraid

Our corrugated stainless steel hoses are reinforced with stainless steel wire braids to enhance pressure-handling capabilities. These hoses come with either a single braid (one layer) or a double braid (two layers) for higher working pressures. Larger hoses have extra braided layers for added durability.
Designing the right braid for each hose type requires careful engineering to balance strength and flexibility. Our braided hoses offer key advantages:
- High Braid Coverage: Our hoses have a high braid coverage, providing longer life and better protection against damage.
- Precision Machine Braiding: The braid is tightly woven directly onto the hose, preventing deformation and ensuring consistent, long-lasting performance.
